A little about me

I'm Steve. That's me with my wife — my best friend and partner in every adventure. Met in high school and married for 33 years, raised three children, and are now looking forward to the next chapter of life as grandparents.

God has given me a heart for the things He cares about — the gospel and people. 100% of my photography fees go toward supporting a missionary family serving North Africa and a refugee family rebuilding their lives in Southern Italy. You can learn more about them here.

I love people, I love photography, and I can't think of a better way to bring the two together.

Behind the camera

I've spent more than 30 years photographing people, places, and moments worth remembering. From the United States and across Europe, my clients have included world-renowned architects, home builders, professional athletes, actors, musicians, and business leaders.

Along the way, I founded PreviewFirst, one of California's leading real estate media production companies, and The Clean Neighborhood Project, a Colorado nonprofit dedicated to community cleanup and youth leadership.

These days, I'm especially drawn to family portraits, golf, and skiing photography. I love capturing the personality and connections within a family, the beauty of a golf course and the golfers who enjoy it, and the excitement of skiers making the most of a beautiful day on the snow. Each offers something different, and I'm always happy to have my camera along for the experience.
