Some of the best family memories happen on the mountain.
First chair on a powder day. Kids racing Mom and Dad down a groomer. A little friendly competition in the terrain park. And those moments on the chairlift when everyone's smiling, laughing, and just happy to be together.
Those are the moments I want to capture.
After more than 30 years as a professional photographer, I'm spending more time behind the camera doing what I love most — combining photography with some of my favorite outdoor adventures.
And skiing is right at the top of that list.
I'm building a new portfolio of Colorado ski photography, and throughout the season, I'll be offering complimentary photography adventures to select families who love spending time together on the mountain.
More Than Just a Family Portrait
Forget the traditional family photo where everyone stands in a line, smiles at the camera, and tries not to blink.
I want to capture your family doing what you love.
Carving beautiful turns down freshly groomed runs. Finding untracked powder. Weaving through the trees. Catching a little air in the terrain park. Or simply enjoying the incredible scenery together.
Of course, we'll stop along the way for some great family portraits, too. After all, the mountains of Colorado make a pretty spectacular backdrop.
My goal is to deliver a collection of family ski vacation photography that tells the story of your day on the slopes — the action, the adventure, the personalities, and the moments you'll want to remember for years.

I'm looking for families planning ski days at some of Colorado's incredible mountain resorts along the I-70 corridor.

Whether you're planning a family ski vacation in the Vail Valley, visiting Summit County for Breckenridge, Keystone or Copper Mountain ski photography, or simply heading up to the mountains for the weekend, I'd love to hear about it.

What's the Catch?
There isn't one. Really.
I'm refreshing my portfolio and looking for families who are comfortable being photographed and allowing me to showcase some of our favorite images on my website and social media.
I'll bring my camera, my skis, and more than three decades of photography experience.
You bring your family, your enthusiasm, and your love of skiing.
There's no photography fee and no obligation to purchase anything.
And yes, I'm pretty confident you're going to love the photographs.
Sessions are offered selectively, subject to availability and portfolio needs. Families are responsible for their own lift tickets, travel, lodging, and other personal ski expenses. Participation requires a signed photography/model release, including parental consent for minors.
A Little Photography. A Bigger Purpose.
There's another reason I'm doing this.
The photography on this website helps support a few charitable causes that are especially close to my heart, including missionary friends serving overseas and a refugee family rebuilding their lives.
If you love the photographs I create for your family and feel inspired to give something toward those causes, you're always welcome to make a voluntary donation.
